Brief description

Fourier Transform Demonstration (FTD) is an educational tool for visual interactive presentation of the Fourier transform (the transform is used in the fields like signal processing, pattern recognition, etc.). The FTD applet shows the time and the frequency domains in the wire cube at the same time. By changing the amplitudes and phase delays of sine functions, the resulting signal is changed. Different views can be achieved by rotating the wire cube. See documentation for the short user manual.

The Applet has been tested with the Internet Explorer 11.

The Java Web Start Application has been tested on Windows 10 with Oracle Java 8 build 121 (launched trhough Internet Explorer and Firefox - if there are errors, please assign .jnlp extension to program javaws.exe) and Linux x64 with OpenJDK 1.7 build 121 and IcedTea 2.6.8 (launched through Firefox).

If you are using Oracle Java, please add this site to the security exception list in Java Config Panel!
